Haridwar Dengue News : The administration of Haridwar has issued a high-level alert in response to the growing threat of dengue, prompting District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal and a team of officials to take immediate action. Their mission: to raise awareness and combat the looming dengue crisis.
Haridwar Dengue News : The District Magistrate conducted a surprise inspection in the Shravanath Nagar locality, engaging with the community to stress the critical importance of vigilance in the face of the dengue threat. During his visit, he not only assessed the cleanliness of the area but also oversaw the removal of stagnant water from money plant pots and coolers in several households. Additionally, he inquired about the efforts made by the Municipal Corporation to control dengue larvae.

Upon receiving word of the unannounced inspection by the District Magistrate in Shravanath Nagar, various departmental heads swiftly joined the inspection team. Throughout the visit, the District Magistrate visited numerous households, observed the accompanying workers, and inspected the water stored in coolers, as well as the condition of flowers and plants in the streets.
The District Magistrate encouraged residents, with a special emphasis on women, to diligently replace the water in their containers and utilize larvicidal solutions as a preventive measure. The inspection team was accompanied by City Magistrate Premlal, Municipal Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation Dayanand Saraswati, ACMO Dr. RK Singh, Dr. Tarun Mishra, Senior City Health Officer Vikas Chaudhary, and other officials.
Discovery of Dengue Larvae in Hotel Coolers and Pots During the inspection led by the District Magistrate, dengue larvae were detected in four coolers and two pots at a local hotel. Additionally, two pots in the Jagjitpur area were found to contain dengue larvae. The inspection team swiftly took action to eliminate the larvae and conducted larvicidal treatment to raise awareness among the affected residents.
Municipal Corporation Receives Additional Resources In an effort to enhance public awareness, the District Magistrate flagged off five spray tankers, five fogging machines, and ten Fontana machines for pesticide spraying and fogging. These resources were dispatched to various areas as part of a public awareness campaign organized by the Haridwar Municipal Corporation. During this program, officials were directed to allocate 101 fogging machines and two Fontana spray machines, dividing them into six zones, to support the efforts of the Municipal Corporation Haridwar.

Dengue Patient Referred to Haridwar The Community Health Center Luxor continues to report cases of dengue. On Monday, a child with a fever was brought in for testing, and the results confirmed a dengue infection. In light of the child’s condition, they have been referred from the Community Health Center to the district hospital in Haridwar.
Dr. Nalind Aswal, the Medical In-Charge of the Community Health Center, reported that more than 30 fever patients are seeking treatment at the OPD on a daily basis, with each patient undergoing dengue testing. On Monday, a couple from a local neighborhood brought their 12-year-old son, who was suffering from a fever, to the hospital. After testing positive for dengue, the child’s critical condition warranted their referral to the district hospital.
