The 15th edition of the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2024 kicks off today, on January 19, 2024. South Africa is set to host the tournament, featuring a total of 41 matches across four venues over 24 days. The participating 16 teams, grouped into A, B, C, and D, will compete fiercely for the coveted title.
The previous ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2024 was held in the West Indies in 2022, where India clinched their fifth title. In the current edition, India finds itself in Group A alongside USA, Bangladesh, and Ireland. The inaugural matches include a double-header between USA and Ireland, as well as South Africa and West Indies. India’s first match is scheduled for January 20 against Bangladesh.
