Uttarakhand will become the second state in the country after Madhya Pradesh to introduce MBBS in Hindi.
From the new session, medical students in Uttarakhand will be able to study MBBS in Hindi.
According to information provided by the state information department,
preparations have been made and Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya can launch the course by the end of this month.
This Hindi course, which will be optional, is being implemented after a thorough study by a 4-member committee of the Medical Education Department of Uttarakhand.
After studying the syllabus applicable in Madhya Pradesh, the committee had prepared its own Hindi syllabus and handed it over to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Medical Education University
State Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said Mandaviya has been asked when he can spare time for the “bhoomi pujan” of Udham Singh Nagar AIIMS Satellite Center and the launch of the Hindi MBBS course.
