Tata Steel New Manufacturing Setup in UP : In a significant development, Tata Steel inaugurated a state-of-the-art, fully automated construction service center in Uttar Pradesh, solidifying its commitment to providing top-quality reinforced products. Located in Ghaziabad, this facility represents Tata Steel’s second establishment of its kind, the first being in Cuttack, Odisha. Beyond producing reinforced materials, it also offers inventive solutions tailored to the construction sector.
Ashish Anupam, Chairperson of Marketing & Sales for Long Products at Tata Steel, took the opportunity during a media briefing to emphasize the center’s capabilities. He revealed, “The company has entered into a collaboration with its channel partner, Vikrant Ispat Udyog, to launch its inaugural service center in western UP, delivering custom-made reinforcement products and specialized solutions catering to the construction industry.”

This facility specializes in the production of custom-designed “cut and bend Tata Tiscon TMT rebars, complemented by coupler threading services.” Moreover, it extends its support to the construction industry by providing downstream solutions such as welded wire mesh and bore pile cages, addressing a wide spectrum of construction requirements.
With an impressive monthly production capacity of 3,500 tonnes, this fully automated downstream manufacturing facility is just the beginning of Tata Steel’s ambitions. The company has strategic plans to establish an additional 10 similar centers in various locations across the country. It’s worth noting that in June 2023, Tata Steel unveiled a comparable cutting-edge construction service center in Cuttack, Odisha, underscoring its dedication to advancing the construction industry through innovative solutions.
