Uttarakhand Administrative Transfers : A notable administrative reorganization has unfolded in Uttarakhand, leading to alterations in the roles of 10 officials, comprising six IAS officers and three PCS officers. In the late hours of last night, the Department of Personnel and Vigilance issued a sequence of directives elucidating these modifications.
One of the prominent adjustments centers around the responsibility of the Director of Panchayati Raj. This position has been reallocated, resulting in the displacement of Additional Secretary Anand Swaroop. In his stead, PCS Nidhi Yadav, who underwent a period of compelled waiting, has assumed the mantle of the new Director of Panchayati Raj.

Furthermore, notable changes have been enacted across diverse departments within the administrative landscape. Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, who previously held the mantle of Chief Executive Officer of PMGSY, has seen this role rescinded. Concurrently, Additional Secretary Swati S Bhadauria has been entrusted with the position of Mission Director NHM, succeeding Additional Secretary Rohit Meena, the former custodian of this responsibility.
Another pivotal shift entails Additional Secretary Karmendra Singh, who has been designated as the Chief Executive Officer of PMGSY. Meanwhile, Additional Secretary Alok Kumar Pandey has been bestowed with the duty of overseeing the Panchayati Raj Department.
In an action impacting the academic domain, PCS Mohammad Nasir has been named the Director of Administration and Monitoring at Pantnagar Agriculture University.
