His highly anticipated two-day visit to Pithoragarh is scheduled for October 11, with the possibility of a subsequent trip to the revered Badri-Kedar Dham during the latter part of October. The BJP has launched comprehensive preparations for the Prime Minister’s forthcoming visit.
The state president of the party, Mahendra Bhatt, has officially confirmed the Prime Minister’s visit, although the final program details are yet to be received. According to sources within the party, during his two-day stay in Pithoragarh, PM Modi will spend the night at Narayan Ashram on October 11, aligning with a prior request made by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister’s visit is expected to bring renewed prominence to Narayan Ashram. Additionally, PM Modi is slated to visit the ITBP post at Jaulingkang along the border and has plans to explore Adi Kailash while engaging with local residents from border villages. The visit will also include an exhibition showcasing products crafted by local artisans, with the Prime Minister offering encouragement and support to these skilled individuals.
Following these engagements, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address a public gathering in the heart of Pithoragarh’s market around noon. The party has already initiated preparations for this significant event and will soon outline the program, assigning responsibilities to party leaders to ensure the successful execution of the Prime Minister’s grand public meeting. This rally is intricately linked to the BJP’s strategic preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
It is widely believed that through this rally, Prime Minister Modi aims to energize the BJP cadre and cultivate favorable sentiment for the party among the masses. Subsequently, around October 24, the Prime Minister is expected to visit the sacred shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath, where he may also hold another public meeting, further strengthening his party’s presence in the region.
